As a beatboxer, Jake is known for combining elements of Hip Hop, Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Trance and Minimal styles in an improvised live set based off of the feeling of the room and the mood of the audience. His beatbox sets vary from laid back and intellectual, to high octane and visceral.

When the guitar comes out, expect melodies ranging from bright and fun, to dark and haunting, to smooth and bluesy, all followed by a blistering display of shredding and technique. Beatbox Jake is most known for combining the guitar and beatboxing into a third catagory he calls "Beatbox Metal"

Jake's unique skillset has earned him opportunities performing alongside legends such as KRS-One, NaPoM, and Carnage the Executioner, and was even featured as a guest beatboxer/guitarist for R.A. The Rugged Man multiple times, one of which was at the 2023 Gathering of the Juggalos
